The content provided here is intended as general guidance only and is not a complete list of everything you may need to know before traveling. When you book with LC Travel Consultants, you gain access to our personalized expertise and discretion. We’re here to discuss your specific questions confidentially and connect you with the proper resources or official departments to help you make informed travel decisions.
DOMESTIC TRAVEL Beginning May 7, 2025, all travelers flying within the United States must present a REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or identification card, unless using a U.S. passport or another federally approved form of identification.
For official details, visit: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id/about-real-id

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL A valid U.S. passport is required for all international air travel. Passports should remain valid for at least six (6) months beyond your planned return date. Some destinations may require additional documentation such as visas or travel authorizations — we will provide guidance specific to your itinerary.

EUROPEAN UNION TRAVEL The European Union’s new Entry/Exit System (EES) and ETIAS travel authorization requirements for non-EU nationals have been delayed until 2026. LC Travel Consultants will provide updated information to clients once implementation timelines are confirmed.

TRAVEL INSURANCE Travel insurance can protect you from unexpected costs that arise before or during your trip, including trip cancellation or interruption, medical expenses and evacuation, lost or delayed baggage, and more.
Most travel insurance plans also include 24/7 emergency assistance to help rebook flights, arrange alternate accommodations, or provide other support while you are away.
If you are interested in coverage, Christine Whirlow of LC Travel Consultants LLC is a State of New Jersey Licensed Producer of LL Travel Insurance and can present plan options for your consideration.

TRAVELING OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES Travelers with prior legal issues — including but not limited to DUIs, unpaid child support, probation, or other legal restrictions — may be denied entry to foreign countries or refused boarding by cruise lines or airlines.
If you are uncertain about your travel eligibility, please consult an attorney or the embassy or consulate of your destination before booking.
It is each traveler’s personal responsibility to ensure they are legally permitted to travel internationally.

MISCELLANEOUS Always familiarize yourself with local laws and customs of your destination. While abroad, you are subject to the laws of that country.
Regulations and requirements may change without notice; please verify all details with official government resources prior to departure.
